The DUKAT series was designed by Sven Erik Skawonius and launched in 1954 by AB Karlskrona Porslinsfabrik. It consists of many models, such as dishes for different kinds of cooking and serving, as well as a series of plates. The series was made in a new green color and in white, and in the latter case also with a cheerful decor in colours, a pattern called FIESTA, which is the first decor used for Dukat. Later, a number of different decors were added to the series.
