The FJORD series, with the handpainted blue borders, was taken into production by Rörstrand from 1979 till 1988. It was designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane, but Jacqueline "Jackie" Lynd was responsible for the decor. The ceramist and designer of Irish origin started working at Rörstrand in 1974 and designed many decors of Rörstrand's services, such as Isolde, Japonica, Julia and Nordica.
