Swedish design company ALMEDAHLS was founded in Gothenburg in 1846 and originally manufactured linen and damask.
Almost 175 years later, the company has grown into one of the most renowned brands of home interior design in Sweden. Almedahls' products feature iconic designs from the fifties and sixties, such as Frisco and Pomona, the popular tableware series designed in 1952 and Picknick, which was designed in 1954 by Marianne Westman who designed these and many other tableware decors for Swedish porcelain manufacturer Rörstrand.
Here you will find a selection of table cloths, napkins and tea towels printed with gorgeous designs of Marianne Westman, Marianne Nilsson en Studio Almedahls. The material is a mixture of linen (55%) and cotton (45%) which allows it to dry faster and absorp more fluid than textiles made of 100% cotton.
