JACQUELINE "JACKIE" LYND (born 1948 in Ireland) moved to Sweden in 1973 and began designing for Rörstrand the following year. The young Irishwoman became early fascinated by Nordic nature, which was often expressed in her artistic work. At Rorstrand, Lynd came to make several tableware together with Carl-Harry Stålhane, where Lynd designed the decor and Stålhane was responsible for the tableware model. Nordica (1978-1987) was the tableware by Stålhane and Lynd that sold best. She also had success with her own tableware such as Isolde (1976-1985) and Japonica (1977-1982). The collaboration with Rörstrand ended in 1990.
