The flameproof service TERMA was launched at the H55 exhibition in Helsingborg in 1955, together with the SPISA RIBB dinnerware, both designed by Stig Lindberg. The two services could be effectively combined and gave the dinner table an informal look. The brown-glazed service was made of a ceramic material called Novarlit and withstands the temperature difference between a hot stove and cold water. It came on the market in 1959 and production ended in 1979.
