BRUNETTE is the appropriate name of this tableware manufactured by the Norwegian earthenware factory Stavangerflint from 1962 to 1979. It was designed by Kåre Berven Fjeldsaa, head of the design department as of 1958. He caused a furore with designs in stoneware, a ceramic material made of a clay that resists high temperatures. Brunette is a very good example of this.
