Our tableware has lasted for many years and may show some signs of wear and tear. After all, back in the early days, it was mainly designed and produced for household use. Any item on offer in our webshop has been thoroughly checked for irregularities and damages. It goes without saying that we do not sell any articles that haven't stood the test of time. Since some of the items were produced more than 50 years ago, we accept however, that they may show some signs of wear and tear. Even though we try to find immaculate pieces, it is unrealistic to expect a brand new condition of tableware of that age. In the articles' descriptions we therefore decided to use the following quality gradings:

  • mint/excellent/(very) good condition: the item barely shows any signs of wear and tear;
  • used condition: the item has visible signs of wear and tear, for instance, a spot or scratches in the glazing, discoloration or some minor cracking, however, the article is not damaged in any way;
  • slightly damaged: the item is slightly damaged, for example, a crack or cracking/craquelure, a tiny chip ('fleabite'), or some other flaw. In this case, the degree of the damage will be amplified in the article's description under 'Remarks'.

We have done our utmost to describe the items in our webshop in the most accurate way. However, the article that you order and receive is not necessarily the article that is depicted on our website. It may be an identical article of comparable quality. Should you have any questions, or like to receive more information about an item, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We will answer your questions as quickly as possible.
